Scheduling Workflows to Run On a Regular Interval

The Scheduler is a feature in Auto Tags that allows you to run workflows automatically at specific times.

Creating Scheduled Workflows

After creating a workflow, go to the workflow configuration page and navigate to the Scheduler tab to configure the workflow to run at regular intervals.

Once you are on the Scheduler page, you should see the following screen.

Specify the Entities You’d Like to Run the Workflow On

The Scheduler allows you to run the workflow against:

  • All entities
  • Entities created or updated within the last specified number of days

Entities can include orders, products, draft orders, or customers.

Frequency Options

You can select the frequency at which you want to run the workflow. The scheduler supports running workflows one or more times per day, per week, or per month.

After selecting a frequency, you can configure the schedule time.

Please note that the app currently supports the GMT timezone, so keep this in mind while entering the time.

Auto Cancellation Of Scheduled Runs (Optional)

The Scheduler allows you to automatically terminate scheduled runs after a specified date.

To cancel the schedule after a certain date, enable the toggle option and enter the date when you want the schedule to end.

Saving and Enabling the Schedule

To enable the schedule, you must first save it. Click the Save button at the bottom of the Scheduler page.

Once saved, a new button labeled Save and Enable will appear next to the Save button. Click Save and Enable to activate the workflow schedule.

That's it! You’ve successfully set up a scheduled workflow.
